Fired for Posting a Dilbert Comic at Work

Have you heard the story of the man who was fired for posting a comic that his bosses thought ridiculed them?  They caught him on video surveillance posting the irreverent “Dilbert” comic and fired him:

Employees beware!  It doesn’t take much to get fired…Dilbert author has this advice:  “Stick with Garfield.  No one was ever fired for loving lasagna.”

    The problem with Dilbert is that anyone ( for the most part) who has worked in a large organization finds Dilbert all too true.
    Interestingly most of the Dilbert cartoon ideas come from actual submissions from employees or former employees . This is yet another example.
    Often it seems that many companies survive in spite of themselves. Those that cannot do “manage”.
    Ask them what their management job is – most cannot tell you
